• Caucuses elect the members of the Board of Directors
• Caucuses provide a forum for member students to present issues to their Board members, and to hold their representatives accountable
• Caucuses allow members to address issues that may arise relative to their type of institution

• To increase networking between similar campuses
• To increase communication between students and the Board of Directors
• To formally hold the Board of Directors accountable
