Joint Finance Committee Hearings coming to your neck of the woods!JOINT FINANCE BUDGET HEARING SCHEDULE: PLEASE TESTIFY WITH US! The Joint Finance Committee is the legislative body that has director power over the numbers and policy of the Wisconsin state budget. They are the sixteen legislators (eight representatives and eight senators) who recieve the budget bill directly from the Governor. They then work to meet Wisconsin citizens where they are at around the state. There are six hearings. Joint Finance Co-Chairs Miller and Pocan have announced the public hearing schedule for the budget bill. All of the hearings are scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is an amazing experience for students to make their voices heard in their area of the state. Listed below are dates, cities, locations, and the closest campuses. Some non-member campuses are unlisted.
