United Council is led by a Board of Directors. Board members direct the organization and decide the priorities that United Council works on. Board members and officers are elected at the Spring Convention each year.

President Seth T. Hoffmeister, UW-Stevens Point

Seth is a native of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. After high school he began attending the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he studies Environmental Ethics and Anthropology. At UWSP, Seth has been in the Student Government Association, serving as Senator and Student Life Issues Director. He took a significant role in reasserting student control over segregated fees and putting to bed the long feud over student fee autonomy.

Vice President Dylan Jambrek, UW-Eau Claire

Dylan was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, also living in Milwaukee and St. Francis. After high school, he went to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (Go Blugolds!) where he majors in Political Science (Legal Studies). There, he served as a multi-year Student Senator, as Finance Commission Director, and Student Body President. He also served as Treasurer and President of the Eau Claire College Democrats, Competitor and Coach of the nationally-ranked Forensics program, and Events Chair of Forward Momentum, an organization dedicated to LGBTQ equality. Dylan enjoys a good pickup game of wiffleball, is an ardent advocate of the space program, and can’t get the beat to ‘show me what democracy looks like’ out of his head.

Secretary Beth Huang, UW-Madison

Beth is a junior at UW-Madison, where she studies biochemistry and history, and originally hails from the suburbs of Milwaukee. Two years ago, she first got involved in student organizing with the Student Labor Action Coalition (SLAC) during the successful “Just Cut It” Nike divestment campaign.
