University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County tuition, fees to exceed $5,000
Students attending the University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County this fall will pay more than $5,000 in tuition and fees for the first time after the UW System Board of Regents voted to increase tuition by 5.5 percent Thursday.
“The UW Colleges, the 13 two-year campuses are designed to create an affordable and accessible path to a bachelor’s degree, and this increase threatens that access for both tradition and nontraditional students,” said Ian Reese, UW Colleges Student Governance Council President.
